The Mirg Shield-Nation is one of the vassal states of the Amid Empire.[2][3].
Geography[]
The nation exists in the northwest of the Bahn Gaia continent,[3] just west of the Boundary Mountain Range.[4] It takes about a month and a half at the speed of an army march to reach Talosheim from the capital of Mirg, assuming the tunnel through the Boundary Mountain Range is still in good condition.[1]

Slaves possess the rights as humans, so one cannot use slaves in reckless ways, since one would be accused of abusing them. Such concerns were void if the slaves were of Vida's races however. There are also criminal slaves.[7]
They grow buckwheat and can use it to make galettes among other things.[8]
History[]
200 years ago, the Mirg shield-nation invaded Talosheim. Many soldiers, many of them elite such as the tragic hero Mikhail and his party, perished in the battle. Although the Talosheim Expedition accomplished the empire's objectives, Mirg suffered both militarily and economically, forcing them to become even more politically subservient to the Amid Empire. Mirg is still recovering from its pyrrhic victory over Talosheim, despite being the most militaristic aong the empire's vassal states.[?]
Ever since the fall of Mikhail, only Heinz and his Five-colored Blades has even come close to becoming S-class adventurers.[?]
Second invasion of Talosheim[]
After the 5, 000 zombies hord attacked Balcheburg it became known that nation lost 6,000 elite soldiers, which meant that it would take several years for it to fully rebuild its army. It also affected its economy due to the cost of the forts and tunnels that they made to ttack Talosheim and that collapsed.[9]
The loss of the Viscount Balchesse cultivation project was a downturn for the nation's economy due to the significant financial support it received from the nation for it, due to the poison of the fields dirt and the water from the irrigation channels which was strong enough to not being able to be purified by the Mages Guild and that would take decades or even a century to degrade.[9]
The attack from Gordan and Riley to Balcheburg made the reputation and influence of the Church of Alda and the adventurers fell.[9]
